The golf course in Konopiska is located about 14 km from the centre of Czestochowa. This is undoubtedly one of the greatest golf course investments of this type in Poland.
It took six specialists in the construction of golf courses from the USA, England, Scotland and Wales to implement the project of architect Hans - Georg Erhardt (who designed, inter alia, Fontain GC in Baden / Vienna).
During the construction process 1000 000 cubic meters of soil was relocated. This way, a complex of connected reservoirs was created in the area of 14 ha. The difference in water levels in lakes is 8 m. Greens with an average area of 700 square meters have been built according to USGA standards.
In the field there are four species of grass watered with the help of the most modern irrigation systems by Rain Bird - well-known American company. Water is distributed along 50 km network of pipes located below the surface of the field to 1200 sprinklers.
The excellent quality of the field is maintained by an experienced team of people having the most modern machinery available.
The golf complex consists of:
- 18-hole championship golf course
- driving range with 80 stations including 14 sheltered
- putting green with an area of 1500 square meters
- Chipping green
- training bunkers
