General


Planetarium is located in the Provincial Park of Culture and Recreation, is the largest and also the oldest Polish planetarium formed in 1955 to commemorate the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. It was equipped with a projection apparatus, placed under 23-meter dome screen acting artificial sky. The auditorium can accommodate up to 400 people. Popular sessions on the subject of astronomy for a broad range of audiences.
Group participation in the sessions requires an advance reservation: on weekdays from 8.00 am - 14.30. Offer also includes a planetarium shows are on order, with comments in other languages (Tuesday to Sunday at 15.30.).
