The exact date of establishing of the parish in Krzeszow is not known. The sources confirm its existence in the fifteenth century, but perhaps dating back to the fourteenth century.

The present Church is the third wooden Church built in Krzeszow (the original built before 1509, burnt down in the 1st half of the seventeenth century, the second Church from around 1642, also not preserved). The present Church was built in 1727-1728 and in 1744 was consecrated by the Bishop of Przemysl Wacław Hieronim Sierakowski.

The present Church complex in Krzeszow consists of a Church, the bell tower located west of the Church, the wooden building of the presbytery located outside the fence, just north of the Church square. Within the fence there are: a chapel in the south-west of the Church square. The fence on the north-gate and gate.
