On the wall of the old Akademia Bielska building (Warszawska Street) there is an eagle and a date 1628 (the year when the academy was established). There also is a remark which commemorates the 190 anniversary of establishing the Polish Constitution on the 3 May. After being redecorated, this building has a Classic style. Nowadays there is a secondary schoold named after J.I Kraszewski there. Many famous people gained their education in Akademia Bielska, e.g. Józef Ignacy Kraszewski, Roman Rogiński, priest Stanisław Brzoska. Peolpe connected with the academy: Stefan Żeromski, Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz, Bogusław Kaczynski, Roman Kłosowski. There is a J.I Kraszewski monument near the academy, which was build in 1928 to commemorate the 300 anniversary of establishing Akademia Bielska.
