The Monastery of Benedictine Sisters in Jaroslaw was founded in 1611 by Anna Ostrogska. The monastery consists of the Church of St. Nicolaus Stanislaw the Bishop built in 1614-1624. The cloister was erected in 1635 and is surrounded by defensive walls with eight observation towers and a crossing-tower. Currently it is the seat of Ośrodek Kultury i Formacji Chrześcijańskiej (The center for Christian Culture and Formation).
