THE JEWISH SHAMBLES

An interesting example of the Jewish architecture.

The "Jewish Shambles" was built in the early twentieth century. That is a three-winged building with arcades and small cast-iron Corinthian columns, which housed fifteen shops with basements, a gatehouse, a well, a kitchen and toilets. Today, there are various industrial shops existing there.
