The Church is visible from a distance with the characteristic tower with a pointed helmet roof positioned asymmetrically, which was built in 1896-1897.

From the seventeenth century on, the cult of Our Lady of Sorrows was developing here, and since the nineteenth century, the picture is considered to be miraculous.

By the Church there is lime tree growing with the circumference of 420 cm-called a pilgrim lime. On the side of the hill there is a picturesque cemetery.
