As a regional museum, it collects, preserves, evolves and popularizes culture goods from area of land of Kluczbork and northern Opolszczyzna from archaeology, history, ethnography with special attention to beekeeping.
The museum has got its own educational action, basing on its own collections as well as presenting temporary exhibitions of various themes, borrowed from different museums, institutions, associations and private people. Museum organizes museum lessons, displays and competitions.
