Historic water mill



Interesting facility functioned as a mill producing electricity for lighting the city by the end of the 30's.

The historic mill was built at the beginning of the twentieth century by Count Maurice ordinate Zamoyski, the father of the last ordinate - Senator John Zamoyski. The mill was bought from Ordinance after the war by two residents of Szczebrzeszyn: John Peret and Eligius Drożdżyk. The original elevation of the mill has survived intact to this days.
