Forests with a variety of habitats and abundance of fauna in the reserve are a place for an unforgettable forest trekking.

Hops Reserve, formed on 22 April 1983 with an area of 25.70 hectares preserves the oak and hornbeam forest complex with monumental trees and borderland range of beech. The composition of the stand is dominated by oak (Quercus robur) with high proportion of hornbeam (Carpinus betulus), few posts of sessile oak (Quercus petrea) and beech (Fagus silvatica). Beech in the reserve has the farthest northeast natural occurrence. Diversity and abundance of fauna classifies the reserve to the group covering relatively rich forests with a variety of habitats and teeming with wildlife.
