A diverse relief with important landscape assets is characterised by a system of dry valleys and gullies sculptured in loessial base.

Forests cover relatively small part of the area, but due to high inaccessibility they are highly natural.

The Eastern part is a plain area – Obniżenia Dubienki with river valleys of the Wełnianka River and the Bug River.
