5 kilometres from Bialystok, on the road to Bialowieza. The Cywinscy, who have managed the museum for years now, are gifted story tellers and take their guests into the world of sounds and music, as everything is this Museum is either directly music or at least a musical theme encapsulated in artistic expressions, a prop used to listen to music.  The dominant themes are ones from the XIXth century and the beginning of the XXth century. The "Room of Keepsakes" ("Salon Pamiątek") exhibits old decorative and utility items, historic tokens, documents of families from the eastern outskirts and Podlasie, books, magazines, old calendars, and above all collections of music scores (several thousand of them!) and musical instruments. Every item here has its own history, which the owners tell in a very absorbing manner. Visiting the Museum is like visiting friends you have not seen for a long time.
