Wola Cemetery (Cmentarz Wolski)

Established in 19th century served the local inhabitants. Old gravestones and monuments can be found in the vicinity of the Church of St. Gregory.

Established in 1854, it is located in the Wola district. Covering an area of 12 hectares, it initially served the local, mainly poor inhabitants. Today it is made up of two parts divided by Sowińskiego Street. On its premises stands a small church, the Church of St. Gregory the Great, built in 1962-1963. Old gravestones and monuments can be found in the vicinity of the church. Actor Wiesław Drzewicz and actress Barbara Rachwalska are buried in this cemetery. The cemetery is close to the Orthodox and the Warsaw Insurgents' Cemeteries.
