The tower of Upper Gate built in the second half of XIVth century, rebuilt around 1580. Gothic and renaissance rebuilding. The building is rectangular, 3-storey, at the bottom it is barrel vaulted. Above the cornice, there is an attic with an arcade frieze and a ridge made of pinnacles and peaks. In the alcoves of frieze there are key shooting-ranges. On particular storeys, there are artistic displays presenting the most interesting objects and places of Lands of Krapkowice. On the groundfloor, there is a factory of vat paper where everyone can make a piece of paper or order an invitation, diplomas, etc. On the top storey, there is a view-point terrace where You can admire the closest areas - St.Anna Mountain or Opawskie Mountains. In 2007, the Tower got a distinction from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage "Zadbany zabytek Anno Domini 2007". Thanks to that, it appeared on the list of 18 best well-preserved monumental objects in Poland. Group visiting (minimum 10 people), every day, arranged date.
