The former Greek Catholic church dedicated to St. Paraskewa was erected in the 1st quarter of the18th c. Initially, a chapel with an arcaded gallery was located above the women’s gallery.

The building used to be surrounded by canopies and arcades (called soboty). In 1873, a sacristy was built next to the sanctuary and in 1903, the building’s form was restructured with a new women’s gallery being erected, the domes’ profile was changed and the canopy was dismantled. After 1947, the church was taken over by the State Treasury. Conservation work started in 1994.
