The wooden church was built in the 17th century. It was thoroughly redeveloped and expanded in 1875. The painting in its High Altar depicting the Virgin Mary and Child by a 17th century Italian painter Giovanni Verenti is renowned for miraculous favors. It was donated by Seweryn Domanowski in 1648.
