Czarniecka Mountain lies 12 km from Końskie, 2 km from Stąporków, on the Czarna River, surrounded by forests. It is a place of ideal climatic conditions for treatment and rest. The first natural therapy sanatorium was founded in 1891. The mission of the currently operating Świętokrzyskie Rehabilitation Centre is "to make impossible possible". The centre offers constant care and a number of rehabilitation services with the use of modern equipment for electrotherapy, magnet and laser therapy, cryotherapy, hydrotherapy, hypnotherapy and occupational therapy. The treatments are made in comprehensive rehabilitation of patients (mostly children) with diseases of the musculoskeletal system of neurological, orthopaedic, trauma and rheumatoid aetiology. There is an indoor swimming pool for patients; the pool water is treated through the process of ozonation. There is also a sauna (dry and wet) and jacuzzi. Rehabilitation Centre is one of the "butterfly hospitals" and holds a title of a "Children Friendly facility".
