Onze realiteit verandert drastisch van dag tot dag. Maar de ontmoetingsindustrie laat zien dat we samen zijn en dat we proberen de markt samen in stand te houden. De Virtuele Catalogus van de Poolse Organisatie voor Toerisme (POT) is tot stand gekomen in samenwerking met stads- en regionale congresbureaus en bevat geselecteerde informatie over het potentieel van de vergaderindustrie in Polen, waaronder: conferentie- en congrescentra, hotels, restaurants en unieke faciliteiten.
Daarnaast worden de zogenaamde "visitekaartjes van steden" gepresenteerd, d.w.z. informatie in de vorm van infografieken over de belangrijkste objecten en toeristische attracties, voorstellen voor incentive programma's (tot nu toe verborgen in de categorie Top Tourist Attractions, deze wordt verder ontwikkeld) en multimediamateriaal van steden, waaronder interactieve kaarten, dankzij welke interessante punten vanuit vogelperspectief kunnen worden bewonderd. Het materiaal is bedoeld om de planning en de daaropvolgende organisatie van vergaderingen en evenementen in Polen aan te moedigen.
Het verwerven en organiseren van evenementen, met name internationale congressen, is een complex en langdurig proces dat de betrokkenheid van vele belanghebbenden in de ontmoetingsindustrie vereist. Daarom is, in aanvulling op de zoekmachine voor objecten, een belangrijk element van de Poland: Online Site Inspection tool, de contacten met de stad en regionale congresbureaus, de door de POT aanbevolen professionele congresorganisatoren (PCO) en professionele incentive reizen organisatoren (ITC), die zich bezighouden met de lokale productverkoop en het organiseren van ervaringen.
Poland: Online Site Inspection is een technologisch hulpmiddel dat gebaseerd is op de website van de POT en dat in het Engels is opgesteld. Het bevat informatie over meer dan een vijfhonderd objecten en attracties in Polen - deze informatie is onderverdeeld in categorieën. We hopen dat dankzij de verdere samenwerking met de lokale industriepartners deze tool steeds zal worden aangevuld en ontwikkeld. We zijn vandaag al van plan om nieuwe categorieën toe te voegen, zoals Natuur & duurzame sites.
Tot nu toe hebben de volgende zich bij het project aangesloten:Bydgoszcz Convention Bureau, Gdańsk Convention Bureau, Kraków Convention Bureau, Lubelskie Convention Bureau, Łódź Convention Bureau, Poznań Convention Bureau, Toruń Convention Bureau, Warsaw Convention Bureau en Convention Bureau – Wrocław.
Welcome to the Poland: Online Site Inspection
Looking ahead at “post-coronavirus” times, the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau has launched the first edition of Poland: Online Site Inspection,
a comprehensive online guide for meeting planners. It allows event organisers to interactively and individually explore the many congress, conference and event facilities Poland has to offer – from anywhere in the world and at any time.
As a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, new regulations were introduced to prevent the disease from spreading. As a result, many organisers are announcing their plans to reschedule meetings and events to a later date. In addition, some events are undergoing rearrangement and will apply a different formula, taking advantage of available online tools.
Municipal and regional convention bureaux regularly monitor the situation in particular cities and regions. Supported by Poland Convention Bureau of Polish Tourism Organisation the CBs implement new solutions intended to help destinations stay relevant among foreign and Polish meeting planners.

Among them mention is certainly due to state-of-the-art hotels, numerous conference and exhibition centres, unique venues, first-rate transportation infrastructure, as well as organisations and companies ready to provide professional services aimed at business meetings in all size groups.
Intangible goods, cultural offerings, unmatched ambience and atmosphere all constitute major high points of Polish cities seeking the attention of tourists, meeting organisers, and investors.
Virtual events might be all the buzz right now, but we believe that planners are eager to get back to face-to-face meetings as soon as possible. Poland will wait for you!
