In the Middle Ages the Old Town school was situated in this place. Probably Nicolas Copernic the subsequent big astronom frequented it.

At the intersection of Łazienna and St.John Street there is a big building of the old Jesuit's college, built in the end of the XVIIth century. The Jesuits got to Torun in the 1596. In the Middle Ages the Old Town school was situated in this place. Probably Nicolas Copernic the subsequent big astronom frequented it.

At present it is the Medical School Seat.
