At the number 17 in the Neoclassical tenement house there was and there is still the hotel "Under the eagle" former "Under the black eagle". In the Prussian period (at the turn of the XIXth/XXth centuries)  it was already the hotel, bought in the interwar period by Sackiewicz coming back from the USA. At present the hotel is the polish-italian society.
