The object built in the 1896-1897 is the element of 19th century Torun fortress. It is unique on a European scale experience object to 10,5 cm calibre canon. Based on its conclusions several dozen of this kind of canons was built on the west border of German Empire although with the clear difference on prototype. Next to the battery there are also other canons: two batteries of howitzer 15 cm and the half-armoured battery 10 cm and also fortresses of infantry and artillery and several bunkers.
