Railway Station in Leżajsk

Railway Station situated at Mickiewicza 72 St, was built in 1896. Railway connection from Leżajsk to Przeworsk and Rozwadow was opened in 1899.

In the years 1896-1908 the railway station was slightly reconstructed. The building has many cast iron elements (e.g. pillars) which are typical for Galician railway stations. In the centre of the building there is a projection with the main entrance in the middle. The tops of the projection and side walls are decoratively shuttered. Roofs are in Swiss style and originally were covered with ceramic tiles.
